This is the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute, an organization that gives assistance to those who are in the process of creating new value-added products in agriculture. It has a wealth of information on its website including newspaper archives which have alot of great articles very suitable for hte classroom. I have do current events article write ups in my class and this paper is one of the resources they can use. Just click on the news tab and then select Ag Innovation News to view the archives

This is the site for the Institute of Food Technologists. By following this link you will be taken to their "From Concept to Consumer" page which has an online video as well as a teacher guide and student guide posted there. This video and the materials cover the journey of the development of new food products.
