POA Tool from National FFA (The Core)

Dooes anyone use this POA tool in their chapter? (Item number from FFA.org:  POA-VISTA)  What do you think of it?  Is it a must have? Ok? Worth the money?  Thank you

The answer is no.   It is not essential.   I have been using the forms that you find in the National Chapter Award Handbook for years now and they work fine.    If you want to convert them over to a computerized format, I have used excel and come up with some forms of my own that are tailored to our chapter.   It wont work for everyone.

It isn't a must have but my students like using the planning forms during our summer retreat.  The important thing is planning activites in all of the areas. :-)

The Tool allows you to use a traditional POA development process but convienent featues like linking documents together, automatically generates a chapter calendar, creates a chapter budget and generates pdf files of all of your forms for easy printing, emailing or posting to a website.

Many teachers like the ability save your plans year after year in the same location and that the software really gets students involved in the planning process.

For those of you who have used it, can you just print committee forms and meeting sign-up sheets like the ones in the chapter Secretary's book? I just got it this year and it seems really confusing right now.  I would like to use it to plan next year, but I am not going to use it if it is complicated.
